One of the biggest and most awaited events for the gay community in Puerto Vallarta is the Bear Week, which is reloaded for this 2023 with BeefDip, a wilder than ever experience that’s offering more options to have an amazing time surrounded by bears from all around the world. This time the Bear Week will happen from January 29th to February 5th and will be host of an incredible amount of events. Let’s make a list so you can make the right choice:
If you can’t wait no more and your excitement is taking over, then you must assist to the pre-party on January 28th at Mantamar so you can get to know the other guests, have a nice cocktail and be ready for what’s coming up.
The official welcome party will be on January 29th at 3 pm on the always fun rooftop of Blue Chairs where there will be courtesy hors d’oeuvres, a free margarita and special performances. This couldn’t have a greater beginning!
On January 3rd you won’t know what to decide with the great bunch of activities to pick from, like the foam pool party at the Blue Chairs pool with music from DJ Giaco starting at 12 pm. From there, you can head over to watch the beautiful sunset at The Top SkyBar where you’ll find one of the best views of the bay. And once the night falls, you’ll be ready to really party, at 10 pm is the great opening of the meet&greet at the top floor of the Blue Chairs and you’ll be able to interact with the other guests and possibly find that bear that you’ve been looking for and take him to end the night at the incredible BeefDip Takeover experience at the new hotspot in PV, Therapy. This sexy event will be divided in 3 stages between Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
And we know that you’re in Puerto Vallarta and there’s never enough pool time, so on Tuesday we’ll have a second pool party with retro music and all the classics that will get you splashin’ and dancin’ nonstop; and when you’re done, the event that will get the star out of you awaits, the spectacular Bearaoke where you will not only perform your favorite songs and have 30 pesos tequila shots but get a super prize for the winner, courtesy of the generous Blue Chairs hotel,

But not everything is partying, we know that you like adventure and nature and that’s why they’ve planned an amazing tour to explore the Sierra Madre on ATVs. That same day, February 2nd, the most important event of the Bear Week will take place, and we say this for a simple reason: it’s to help others. This is a fundraising event that will make donations to important local associations such as Setac and the Vallarta Food Bank and that has raised over 100, 000 dollars over the years.
Keep the adventure going at the sea on Friday on the Booze Cruise that will take you whale watching, snorkeling and to paradise beaches along bears from all over the world with food and drinks included on the ticket. Once you come back to the ground, 2 amazing parties will be waiting for you, one of them hosted by the renowned DJ Chris Cox and the other one in collaboration with the MADBEAR from Spain, the biggest bear event in Europe.
