A classicof the area is La Dolce Vita, which is present at the malecón as well, butwhile the one in Vallarta’s downtown is more rustic and romantic, the one inNuevo Vallarta is more modern and elegant style. The food is an authenticItalian treat with specials like the fettucine Cesare, the saltimbocca allaRomana or their wooden oven pizzas that will make you feel like you are at aterrace in Piazza di Spagna.
And now, arecommendation we think is not to be missed. With barely a couple of years inNuevo Vallarta, Loma 42 is about to become an instant classic. This is arestaurant that makes you fall in love through all your senses; it has anupscale decoration and they treat you like you were a real king. But the bestattention comes through the mouth and their dishes are something we werewaiting for our whole life and we didn’t know. Their menu is so varied but theydon’t lose focus, each one of their dishes are intense flavored and original,from their huge burgers to their rich pastas, their gourmet fish and theiroutstanding meats. We can’t praise enough Loma 42, it’s something youdefinitely have to try.
And tofinish, let’s go to Japan without leaving the beach. Saku Sushi is a littleplace in Nuevo Vallarta’s Plaza 3.14 that is without a doubt one of the bestsushis we have tried in the bay. The place is pretty but nothing compared tothe flavor of their Yakimeshi Kulishi with Philadelphia cheese and avocado ortheir crunchy shrimp marbles. A true oriental treat that you can’t miss.
